The Weekend Sailor plot

In 1973 the first Whitbread Round the World Race - a sailing competition around the world - started. Not only experienced teams appeared at the start, but also the 'Weekend Sailor', a 50-year-old inexperienced Mexican sailor who entered with a team consisting of friends and family.
