The Russian Winter plot

Rapper and ex-delinquent John Forté is followed on his 'From Brooklyn to Russia with Love!' tour. At the age of 21, the soul/R&B singer was very successful in, among others, the band The Fugees, with which he won a Grammy. In 2000, he was arrested at Newark airport with a suitcase full of liquid cocaine. Forté was sentenced to fourteen years in prison, but was released on parole after 7.5 years after many protests. Invited by musicians in Russia, Forté embarked on a tour of that country in 2011, focusing partly on charitable projects and partly on musical collaboration.
