The Prince and the Dybbuk plot

He worked with Orson Welles and Sophia Loren, and was a welcome guest among the Italian aristocrats; however, the Polish filmmaker Michal Waszynski himself would always remain a mystery. He never spoke about his past and often changed his identity. In his diary he wrote: "I have decided to put my memories behind me. It does me good not to know who I am."
