The Ninth Circuit plot
In March 2003, US troops begin to invade Iraq. The aim is to overthrow the regime of dictator Saddam Hussein, who is implied to have weapons of mass destruction. In 2013, American lawyer Inder Comar came into contact with Iraqi Sundus Shaker Saleh, who lost everything during the war. He decides to bring a case on her behalf against those he holds responsible for her fate and that of hundreds of thousands of fellow victims.
