The Murder Detectives plot

A manhunt is underway after the seemingly senseless murder of a 19-year-old boy in Bristol. Detectives comb the city in search of the suspect, who can be seen on the surveillance cameras at the crime scene. It is a black person who has pulled the hood of his track jacket over his head. Just before he died of multiple stab wounds, the victim called 911 and asked for help. The victim was in college and had just gotten engaged. Who would have wanted to kill him and why?
