The Mating Urge plot

"Unashamed love rites exposed for the first time!"

Filmed with the help of seventeen cameras, this documentary highlights the indigenous customs of population groups in Africa, Bali and New Guinea, among others. Thus a people is followed in which the men carry a vine between their legs, as they climb high trees. The vines are fastened between their ankles, with the aim of securing the men from falling to the ground. Attention is also paid to a macho masculinity ritual, in which an early form of bungee jumping is shown. This is to impress the virgins of the village.
