The Jazz Baroness plot
Hannah Rothschild sets out to find the secret behind her great-aunt's disappearance. Pannonica de Koenigswarter grew up as a member of the Rothschild family with wealth and privileges. In New York, while passing through to her husband, she hears a recording of "Round Midnight" by Thelonious Monk and is enchanted by it. She decides to visit the artist after which the two become friends. In no time, they can hardly be kept away from each other. Pannonica becomes a passionate supporter of jazz and also widely respected in jazz circles. However, her newfound passion does not always fall within her family and social circle.
