"The larger-than-life story of the world's smallest professional basketball team"

The Hollywood Shorties is a documentary about the birth of team sports within the American midget community. Beginning in the 1950s and growing in popularity in the 1980s, the Hollywood Shorties was a basketball team, the first of its kind and unique in the history of midget sport. Composed of a bunch of well-known Hollywood actors, the team started out as a special outlet to gather in public as little people. As their skills increase, so does the membership and popularity.
