The Flagmakers plot

This documentary asks, "Who is the American flag for?" The Eder Flag company in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, sews and ships five million American flags a year. Composed of locals, immigrants and refugees, the flagmakers sew stars and stripes as they engage in identity and togetherness. They reflect on what the American flag represents in a changing nation and world, and for whom. 'The Flagmakers' takes a personal look at the people who make America's most recognizable icon with their hands.
