The Summer Olympic Games of the XXIX Olympiad were held in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China. It was the 26th edition of the Summer Games organized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). China was the 22nd country to organize the Olympic Games. The Games lasted from 8 to 24 August 2008. 11,208 athletes from 204 different countries participated. 302 events were held in 28 sports. This documentary takes a look at these games.
