The Doll plot

Father Alireza agrees to his daughter Asal's marriage, even though she is only 14 and still in school. He has consulted with his relatives and for most of them a minor marriage is not an ideal option. But Alireza is recently divorced, has financial problems and lives at his workplace with his children. He is concerned that Asal could enter into relationships with non-Muslim boys. In addition, the suitor seems like a good suitor. Asal herself does not dispute the decision, she has her own reasons for wanting the marriage.
