The Devil's Horn plot

From 1840, the Belgian instrument maker Adolphe Sax (1814-1894) focused on the development of a new instrument, a woodwind that would produce a unique sound. The saxophone is an instant success: even the famous composer Hector Berlioz admits that he is completely in love with the instrument. In this documentary Larry Weinstein looks back on the history and development of the saxophone and the life of Adolphe Sax who was not very fortunate.
