The Ba' plot

The Scottish village of Kirkwall is divided into two camps: the 'Uppies' and the 'Doonies', the farmers and the fishermen. Every year on January 1, they play the traditional Ba' game, a street rugby match with no rules, no referee and no time limit. On that one day of the year, the streets of Kirkwall turn into a war zone as Up and Doon battle for group victory and family honour.
