The Antarctica Challenge plot

"A Global Warning"

This documentary goes back to the source of the climate change crisis, namely Antarctica. Here one examines first-hand the environmental challenges on the frozen continent and by extension the world. The International Polar Years 2007-2009 is an incredible opportunity for the whole world to work together. Many of these brave scientists are helped by the British Antarctic Survey and the Ukrainians working at Vernadsky Station. A highlight is an interview with Alexandra Shackleton, granddaughter of the legendary explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton, whose brave expedition across Antarctica from sea to sea, from 1914 to 1917, left a trail for humanity today.
