That Cloud Never Left plot

In an Indian village, about two hundred kilometers from Calcutta, various inhabitants work on the manual production of colorful, inventive toys: rattles, whistles and merry-go-rounds. Hundreds of pieces a day make these, with the main raw material being old 35mm film reels full of Bollywood films. The almost monotonous hand, carving and footwork is interrupted by real life, bouts of imaginative stories and projections of films that had seen better years.
