Tableau avec Chutes plot

The film paints a picture of a country and some of its inhabitants. The image is that of The Fall of Icarus, a painting by Pieter Breughel from 1555. The country in question is Belgium. Together they form the backdrop against which a director, the unemployed, psychoanalysts, philosophers, party chairmen and a prime minister dedicate themselves to the question “what does 'looking' really mean?”
