Super Paradise plot

Over the course of 50 years, Mykonos transformed from a remote fishing island to a hippie haven and ultimately a popular destination for mass tourism. Super Paradise takes you back to the island's golden age through extensive research, interviews, and rare archival footage. Against the backdrop of the Greek military regime and the Vietnam War, which dominated global news, Mykonos became a haven for self-expression, attracting artists, hippies, and queer visitors. Over time, its bohemian character also attracted celebrities, paving the way for greed and rampant commercialization.
