Suddenly TV plot
Khartoum, Spring 2019. For a month now, massive protests have raged against the military government, which has failed to hand over power to a civilian government following the welcomed end of Omar al-Bashir's brutal rule. Among the demonstrators who have gathered from all over the country is a group of young revolutionaries who founded the imaginary television station Suddenly TV. With a cardboard box as a camera and a plastic bottle as a microphone, they go on a report and ask people how they see the new Sudan. Everyone goes along with this playful initiative, without losing sight of the seriousness of the situation. At the same time, the atmosphere on the square, besieged by soldiers, is becoming increasingly grim.
