Street Scenes plot

In May 1970, two major protest rallies against the Vietnam War took place: the "Hard Hat Riot" on Wall Street and the "Kent State/Cambodia Incursion Protest" in Washington. Without preparation or appointment, both protesters and spectators are interviewed by the cameramen. The New York protest takes a violent turn as war-promoting construction workers attack protesters; the protest in Washington is peaceful. After the protests, Scorsese, Keitel, Cocks and Bloom talk about the events in a hotel room.
