Stolen Childhoods plot
"For 246 million children life is nothing but work."
Stolen Childhoods is a documentary about child labor worldwide. The film shows stories of children from all over the world telling their story in their own words. The children work at garbage dumps, in mines, and in brick kilns, among other places. The film places the stories of these children in the broader context of the worldwide fight against child labour. Stolen Childhoods shows the causes of child labour, what it costs the world community, how it contributes to global insecurity and what is needed to tackle this problem.
