Still Alive plot
Still Alive speaks to the 'Tahrir generation'. A generation that, in the words of one of them, attributes to itself a mental disorder: the joy of being part of the Arab Spring, but also the regret of starting the movement. But is the Arab Spring still alive after the Egyptian revolution in 2011, or has it adapted to the new circumstances, the restrictions that quickly returned and the new and orthodox rulers. Director Beugnies speaks with young people who can now also be called 'old revolutionaries', although they are often not yet 30 years old.
