Speak plot

This documentary follows six finalists as they prepare for and compete in a grueling contest to become "public speaking world champions". Each struggles with seemingly insurmountable personal and professional problems. In a society based on free speech, a surprising number of people don't make their voices heard. Their silence is born of fear, with the greatest primordial fear of all: the fear of public speaking. Against this background, the film focuses on the highly personal journeys of the selected finalists.
