Sommerwelten plot

Long days, lots of food, relaxing, la dolce vita... That's what summer means to people. But nature cannot afford that. On the contrary, plants and animals have to take advantage of the warm days to grow and reproduce. Thanks to the abundance of heat, light and food, many worries disappear, but on the other hand there are challenges such as extreme heat and severe thunderstorms. This documentary highlights both sides of the coin.
