Soldaat voor Ambon plot

The documentary provides a unique portrait of the unknown side of Erik Hazelhoff Roelfzema in the South Moluccas. The most famous war hero of the Netherlands tried to lend a helping hand to the Ambonese in their fight against the powerful Indonesians in 1950. The archipelago wanted to break away from Indonesia but was confronted with a bloody military invasion.
