Six Robots & Us plot

Two-part documentary about a unique experiment investigating the latest discoveries in the field of robotics. Experts from four universities deliver four robots - Fitbot, Carebot, Tuturbot and Beam - to four families across the UK. Psychologist Dr Caroline Jay and robotics specialist Professor Jonathan Rossiter then follow them closely. In north London, Michelle and Paul Doherty receive robot Kaspar, specially designed to help their four-year-old autistic son Ethan communicate and improve his interactions with other people.
