Silvia plot

Silvia looks radiant in old VHS footage from her early 1980s wedding. A beautiful woman standing on the threshold of a promising future, with a diplomat for a husband and living in a comfortable house. The home video images that follow show new highlights: the first wedding anniversary, daughters growing up and a farewell party at the embassy. However, the audio commentary creates a completely different reality. Filmmaker and middle daughter María Silvia Esteve and her sisters talk about their parents, who slowly slide into a valley of fierce fights, psychological problems and prescription drugs.
