Silent Voice plot

Khavaj, a young mixed martial arts fighter from Chechnya, is in hiding in Belgium. Since his brother found out he is gay, he has to fear for his life. He is so shocked by everything he has been through that he has lost his voice. With the help of a Belgian organization that takes care of young men like Khavaj, he learns to speak again and tries to find his place in a foreign country. Contact with his family is out of the question. The only thing that connects him to the home front is the stream of voice messages his mother sends him. But Kadyrov's reign of terror continues to haunt him.
