Shattered Sky plot

Thirty years ago, scientists reported a hole in the ozone layer "as big as North America." The culprit was a man-made chemical called CFCs, which were found in refrigeration, air conditioning and other products that had radically changed the American way of life. With scientists predicting cancer if we didn't change anything, literally "life as we know it" was at stake. Yet little happened. Politicians reacted slowly. This documentary tells the story of how America led the world to solve the greatest environmental crisis ever.
