Self-Portrait in Handcuffs plot
Portrait of the Belarusian artist Ales Pushkin, who conducts minor resistance against the regime of President Lukashenko through his performance art. Since the dictatorial president came to power, numerous galleries have been closed or subject to censorship. As one of the last artists in his country, he has been seeking confrontation for ten years with the authorities, who time and again send him away or arrest him when he flies the banned Belarusian flag.
