Segodnya plot

Russia has again declared its propaganda war on the West in general and the US in particular. While this battle takes place mainly on television, it is essentially not new, but still rooted in old propaganda techniques that have been used for decades. This documentary juxtaposes iconic images of the birth of communism in the USSR with similar images of the birth of capitalism in New York. The confrontation between the two ideologies is expressed in strikingly avant-garde montage and eloquent intertitles that praise the Soviets and slay the Americans.
