Schildkrötenwut plot

The film tells the story of director Pary El-Qalgili, who seeks answers to questions about her family history from her taciturn father. When Pary is twelve years old, her father leaves his family living in Berlin to fight for the freedom of Palestine. After some time, however, he is expelled by the Israelis and returns to Germany, to his wife and child. From then on, he shrouds himself in silence, like a tortoise in his armor.
