Sandlines plot

The children of a mountain village near Mosul recreate a century of Iraqi history, from the secret Sykes-Picot treaty signed in 1916 to the terror zone set up by the Islamic State in 2016. The children delve into the past to get a hold of it. on their present. Director Alÿs invited them to role-play in order to evoke an entire world with simple means.
