Sanatorium plot

Near Odessa lies the Kuyalnik Sanatorium, a dated health resort where it feels like the 1970s have never ended. Yet, war slowly creeps into the building: weary soldiers with physical and mental injuries check in as patients; occasionally, the air raid siren sounds, and the residents rush to the bomb shelter. We meet a colorful group of eccentric characters, including the burly caretaker, Dmitriy, with his characteristic booming laugh.
