San Antonio plot
Director Álvaro Olmos lets us take a look inside the smallest prison in Bolivia, San Antonio. Prisoners can live there with their families (or spend the night with prostitutes) and start their own business (legally or not) without the involvement of the state or society. The film follows 3 inmates. One is the story of Ramon, a drug-trafficking inmate, who disguises himself as a clown for the children of the prison. Another is Sergio, a mobster charged with a double murder case. While awaiting trial, he sells tattoos, drugs and recorded a hip-hop album. And the last is Guery, a thief who absolutely wants to get out and steal again.
