Safta Judith plot

Filmmaker Iris Mimon goes in search of the story of her young and tragically deceased grandmother. Her Israeli grandmother Judith was only 20 when she died from the effects of an illegal abortion. Sixty years later, granddaughter Iris travels to relatives in Israel, America and Canada to reconstruct Grandma's life, unravel mysteries and finally discover the painful truth.
