Run for Life plot

The story begins with the arrival of the tragic heroes in Serbia. A year and a half later, it ends with their departure from the airport, waved goodbye by their wistful mentor, filmmaker Mladen Maticevic. The dream of the three Ethiopian long-distance runners, who hoped for a career on European soil, is then shattered. The filmmaker follows the three athletes very closely during this period, at a calm pace. He participates in the developments himself, as a kind of life coach.
