Riles plot

Eddie and Pen live with three adoptees and two children of their own in a shabby, small house right next to the railway in the Philippine capital Manila. They are not the only ones living dangerously close to the rails, many poor families have settled there. There is no room left in the rest of the crowded city, and certainly not for people who have no money. Children play between the rails, ride homemade carts, the men gamble and the women meet.
