Remparts d'Argile plot

Dramatized documentary about life in Chebika, a small clay village in the south of Tunisia, just after independence. The children of the village receive their first education, but the men, who work in a quarry, are confronted with a pay cut. The men go on strike and occupy the quarry, whereupon they are surrounded by the army. An orphaned girl acts as a silent witness to the events.
