In 1966, Stephen Olvey, a medical student and racing enthusiast, gets the chance of a lifetime when he is asked to volunteer for the Indianapolis 500 medical team. What began as a fun behind-the-scenes look at a sport he loved so much soon turns into a terrifying lack of medical support for the drivers, with whom he has since become friends.
