Random Patrol plot

Early in the morning, Police Officer Matt Hoffer gets into his SUV and begins his daily round of Yukon, an Oklahoma City suburb where the bungalows-with-front-yard-and-garage are barely distinguishable from each other. Whenever he puts on his uniform, he wonders if he will be shot that day. The permanent fear and tension can be read on his face, although nothing spectacular seems to be happening in the Yukon. Suspicion is the instrument with which he does his work.
