Most workers in China work endless hours for a pittance. During the holidays, the textile workshops in Zhili are sparse, working desperately for a few cents to pay for their journey home. Festivities will be celebrated everywhere in the villages and towns of her parents and in the presence of family. For Wei Shi, this period also marks the opportunity to get married.
