Pulled from the Rubble plot

In this documentary, American Margaret Loescher follows the rehabilitation of her father, Gil Loescher, who lost his legs in a bomb attack on the United Nations headquarters in Baghdad. The attack claimed the lives of more than 20 people, including Sergio Viera de Mello, head of the UN in Iraq. Gil Loescher was the only one left alive. In publicity material for the film, Margaret Loescher states that during his recovery, her father wanted to know exactly how his rescue worked.
