Point de Départ plot

In Starting Place, filmmaker Robert Kramer returns after 23 years to Vietnam, where in 1969, as an opponent of the war, he made the documentary People's War. Kramer visits a number of people, including his guide and his cameraman from 1969, a former Vietnam activist, a few workers and Vietnamese youth. These meetings make clear what has changed economically and socially since the Vietnam War.
