Pirmais Tilts plot

The Krāslava Bridge is the first bridge over the Daugava River in the territory of Latvia - a gateway for the Daugava from Belarus to Latvia. This strategically built and historically significant structure has several different meanings. This documentary immortalizes in a series of static black-and-white shots and sounds the life of the bridge in all its heaviness and lightness: through the eternally flowing river over which it bends, we witness the endless movement of car traffic and pedestrians walking between two riverbanks, as well as the call of nature in the vicinity of the manifestations of human civilization, for which the bridge serves as a symbolic backdrop.
