Pink Power plot

Konni (70) and Jasmin (43) were diagnosed with breast cancer at different times: Jasmin as a young mother and independent architect, Konni shortly before her retirement after a long career as a nurse. Both were thrown off course by the disease and eventually found their way to the Küstenpinkies, a dragon boat team from Wilhelmshaven. There they found new strength and a sense of community. All 23 women in the boat have or have had breast cancer. Dragon boating is also considered particularly effective in helping people cope with the disease and counteracting potential late effects, both physically and mentally.
