Pianoforte plot

The International Chopin Piano Competition has been held in Warsaw since 1927. Of the 160 participants, only 10 will go to the final. Taking place during the 2021 event, this documentary follows an eclectic group of young musicians from around the world who have been preparing for this unique opportunity since childhood. The young pianists are confronted with extreme demands, passion, fear, rituals and mental strength.
