Persistence of Vision plot
"The untold story of the greatest animated film never made."
In the 1960s, animator Richard Williams began production on The Thief and the Cobbler, with the ambition to make the greatest animated film ever. He worked on it until 1993, when the film finally came out, in a completely different version than Richard Williams intended. This version had limited releases and flopped, but Williams' original vision has become a myth among animation enthusiasts. This documentary tells the story behind the extremely long and arduous production of The Thief and the Cobbler.
