Paternal Instinct plot

Software designer Mark and environmentalist Erik have been together for ten years and have decided it is time to have children. They don't feel like adoption and put an ad on the internet with a call for a surrogate mother. Wen soon responds, a married woman, mother of a teenage son and a practicing witch. After a first acquaintance with the intended mother, a number of insemination sessions follow, after which Wen becomes pregnant. Paternal Instinct closely follows the main characters in this emotional process for two years, a period in which love and estrangement, joy and sorrow alternate continuously for all involved.
