Paruchizan Zenshi plot

Kyoto, fall 1969. Some violent confrontations take place between students and the police. The students set up barricades and throw Molotov cocktails while the riot police try with all their might to stop the movement. The clashes are known as the 'October Battle' and the 'November Battle', one of the reasons being the announced visit of Japanese Prime Minister Sato to the United States. The film follows the activities of a controversial Kyoto University staff member who sided with the students in their fight against the authorities' abuse of power.
