Palabras Mágicas (para Romper un Encantamiento) plot

Filmmaker Mercedes Moncada Rodríguez returns to Nicaragua to explore her own memories and the country's history. Those memories go back to 1979, when the Sandinistas came to power by ousting the Somoza family, who had been in power since 1934 with the help of the US. Lake Managua is the garbage dump of the capital of the same name and in 1934 Somoza dumped the ashes of General Sandino here. Since then, it has been more of a metaphor for the polluted, because corrupt and corrupting state.
